Baker Duncan Theatre Scholarship Application

Please submit your completed application by 11:59 PM on your intended deadline.

We accept applications from students interested in all aspects of theatre, including performance, directing, design, theatre management, and theatre scholarship. This annual award can range up to $10,000. Prospective first-year students planning to pursue a major or minor in theatre are welcome to apply.

To be eligible for a theatre scholarship, the student must submit this form as well as the following requirements: a resume, two recorded monologues, a portfolio, and a virtual interview. Interview spots are limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis, so it is recommended to apply by the December 7 Priority Deadline. Detailed instructions to follow upon completion of this application.

I understand that consideration for a Theatre Scholarship is contingent on my acceptance to Trinity University as a full-time student. I understand that Baker Duncan awards are renewable for up to eight semesters, excluding summer, as long as the recipient becomes and remains a minor or major in theatre and maintains full-time enrollment and good academic standing as indicated by a minimum 2.0 GPA. Recipients of Baker Duncan awards will be notified of their award in their financial aid packet, which is mailed in early April.
